Neuromodulators are temporary muscle relaxers that can last 3 to 4 months (or more). Botox® and Dysport® are types of Botulinum Toxin type A, they are Health Canada Approved injectable medications.
Cosmetically, neuromodulators can freshen your look by softening fine lines on the face that are caused by commonly used facial expressions. These injectables are made from highly purified, naturally occurring proteins. They are able to relax the targeted muscles and gradually smoothen wrinkles as the muscles relax.

- "Lip flips", to create the appearance of fuller lips without the need for dermal fillers
Timing
The treatment is completed with small injections to the targeted areas. It will take a few days to see results and notice the muscle changes, the full effects take approximately 14 days. The effects are not permanent, typically lasting for three to four months. These procedures can usually be completed within 45 minutes and can be combined with dermal fillers.

- Lower face treatment (lip flip, chin, downward turned mouth corners) = $275
Aftercare
Keep your head upright for at least 4 hours post-treatment - do not bend over or lie down.
You must also wait at least 4 hours before touching, pressing or manipulating the treated areas. You can apply to make up after 4-6 hours.
slight bruising can be a possibility. If it happens it will gradually disappear over 24-48 hours. You can cover the area with makeup if needed.
You can immediately resume your usual activities but should avoid exercise/workouts, as well as saunas, hot tubs and swimming pools until the next day.
