Post care is simple, cold packs may be applied immediately for swelling.
- Avoid touching the face for 4 hours – and then always with clean/washed hands
- You can rinse your face with water after 4 hours but we recommend leaving the area clean and dry
- Bandaids can be used to hide the access sites and can be removed the next morning. Polysporin may then be applied to the access sites at this time.
- No creams, ointments, serums, on the face for 24 hours
- After 24 hours begin to cleanse the face with non-perfumed or alcohol products for 5 days then return to your usual products
- After 24 hours you may apply make-up; apply without rubbing for five days
- Sleep face up on pillows for 3-5 days
- Eat soft foods and refrain from chewing gum for one week
- Avoid excessive facial movements
- No high impact sports for one wee
- No sauna or steam rooms for two weeks
- No sun tanning (outside or salon) for four weeks
- No face down massage or facial treatments for four weeks
- No dental surgery or appointments for three weeks
- Always attend all follow-up appointments as scheduled
